As part of 101 anniversary of the Soviet Revolution

This Saturday 10th of November 2018 at 5:30 pm, we will screen a Masterpiece of Soviet avant- garde cinema to commemorate this historical event:

The End of St Petersburg a soviet production by filmmaker Vsevolod Pudovkin released in 1927 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the October Revolution.

With ENG SUB- 74 min, Mosfilm , USSR , silent .  The film was restored in 1969 by Mosfilm and given a soundtrack.

Synopsis:  it is about the history of the Russian Revolution of 1917 until St. Petersburg becomes Leningrad, told by a peasant who immigrated to the city due to the miserable conditions in the countryside.
