70 years ago, on March 5, 1953, Iosif Stalin died.

He was the top leader of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics since Lenin’s death in 1924, developing it as the second industrial power and defending it from the German invasion and the American Cold War, in addition to helping the liberation struggle of the workers and peoples of the world as was the case with the defense of the Spanish Republic against fascism.
